Alan H. and Deb S. Barbanel Annual Named Scholarship
The Alan H. and Deb S. Barbanel Scholarship Fund will be awarded to a student at the University of San Diego School of Law who has a demonstrated financial need. Preference will be given to students who have demonstrated their strong interest in leadership and have demonstrated their drive and determination through their hard work and dedication to succeeding while at USD School of Law. In addition, Alan and Deb Barbanel would prefer that their scholarship be awarded to students who are the first in his/her/their family to attend an institution of higher learning.
Cameron and Katherine Weiss Sports Law Scholarship Fund
Donors prefer their scholarship fund be used to support students who have expressed or demonstrated interest in pursuing a law degree to practice in the area of sports law, sports agency, or entertainment law.
Class of 1968 Scholarship in Honor of Lou Kerig
This scholarship from the Class of 1968 will be awarded to a law student with demonstrated academic success and financial need.

Class of 2021 Scholarship - Asian Pacific Islander Desi American (APIDA) Trailblazer Law Student Scholarship
This scholarship from the Class of 2021 will be awarded to a law student with demonstrated academic success and financial need that has shown support for the Asian Pacific Islander Desi American community.
Dean Donald Weckstein Memorial Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students with a demonstrated financial need and scholastic merit, for students of all years. The Dean of Admissions & Financial Aid will accurately assess a student’s personal and financial need based upon the student’s personal statement, application to law school and academic standing (GPA and LSAT scores). It will fund students from socially economic challenged backgrounds with financial need and merit. This scholarship is in memory of former Dean Don Weckstein.
DLA Piper Life Science and Technology Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to any law student who currently works or previously worked in any capacity at a life science, medical device, or technology company.
Howard Wayne Memorial Rotary Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded in Howard Wayne's memory to law students at USD School of Law.
Jackson Lewis Labor and Employment Scholarship- Vincent A. Cino Scholarship Program
The Jackson Lewis Law Scholarship will be awarded to a law student who has demonstrated outstanding academic performance in labor and employment law courses with priority given to a student who enriches the diversity of the law school. Examples of employment law courses may include, but are not limited to, employment law, employment discrimination, labor law, ERISA & Employment Benefits, Employment Law & Technology and Work, Welfare & Justice. A preference will be given to third-year full-time and fourth-year part-time students who have completed two or more such courses.

The Mike White Scholarship for Excellence in Litigation will be awarded to a law student who demonstrates financial need, a demonstrated commitment to employment law, workers compensation law and preference will be given to students who support the work of the Employment and Labor Law Society at USD School of Law.

Procopio Scholarship Fund
Procopio Scholarship candidates will be considered by the Assistant Dean of JD Admissions & Financial Aid, and Procopio’s Racial Equality Task Force, based upon overall qualifications for admission to USD School of Law, including academic record, financial need, commitment to increasing diversity and support for Black law students, demonstrating leadership in and for the Black community in an effort to address racial injustice and prejudice. This scholarship will be available for people of color with an initial emphasis on Black candidates and/or candidates who have worked to better the experience of Black communities.

Robert Brewer Student Veteran Scholarship
Awarded to a law student who is a veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces. Priority is given to students who have demonstrated academic merit and financial need.

Willard B. Taylor Tax Law Scholarship
This scholarship will be awarded to law student(s) who have demonstrated a commitment to and interest in tax law, specifically the impact of tax on social public policy. In honor of Willard Taylor’s values and significant contributions to the field, recipient(s) of the Willard B. Taylor Tax Law Scholarship will be selected more for their interest in studying tax law than for their high grades.
